Nautical Affair

I created this board for a lovely bride-to-be, Barbara. Her wedding is taking place August 2010 in a beautiful waterfront ceremony. She wanted an inspiration board that captured her nautical theme using navy, yellow, and sand. For this board I incorporated knee-length bridesmaids dresses in bright yellow. The girls will carry yellow and white blooms for a monchromatic look with their dresses. Nautical compasses are incorporated in centerpieces and invitations. Archors are used a top the bride's cake and in the escort cards. Centerpieces consist of white and yellow blooms in galvanized tin buckets and tea lights throughout the space. The groom and groomsmen will wear nautical ropes in place of floral boutonnieres. Tables are adorned with navy blue linens and yellow and white place settings. Overall, this space gives off an elegant and upscale feel while still being decidedly nautical.
