I created this board for my wedding taking place May 22, 2010. We are getting married at the Marty Leonard Chapel and the reception will take place at the historic YWCA. I was looking to create a board that would express the look and feel I was going for. I chose the colors ivory, antique gold, chartreuse, and chocolate because I think they look gorgeous in both the ceremony and reception venues. They are neutral and earthy and allow the architecture of the spaces to shine through. I chose to use ivory flowers for my bridal bouquet and chartreuse flowers for the bridesmaids bouquets. The girls will be wearing floor-length antique gold dresses and wear a gorgeous vintage looking flower in their hair. Centerpieces for the reception space will incorporate ivory, chartreuse, and chocolate blooms and lots and lots of candlelight. The brides cake will be all white with ruffles around each of the 4 tiers. The grooms cake will be rich chocolate with a monogram in cocoa on the top. All of the details will come together to create and timeless look that compliments the vintage look of our venues.
